Description
Traditional and classic, this waldorf salad makes a flavorful and simple side. The crisp apples, sweet grapes, crunchy celery, and roasted pecans make a delicious combination.

- 2 cups diced apples, Honeycrisp apples or your favorite
- 1 cup grapes, halved
- 1 cup diced celery
- 2 tsps. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup roasted pecans
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Cool Whip
- 1 Tbs. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Add chopped apples, halved grapes, and diced celery to a large mixing bowl.
- Add 2 tsps. freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Add roasted, chopped pecans.
- Add mayonnaise, Cool Whip, sugar, and salt to the mixture.
- Taste and adjust seasoning to your liking.
- Chill for 1 hour or overnight.
Notes
- I used Honeycrisp apples, but you can use whatever you like in the Classic Waldorf Salad.
- Substitute walnuts for pecans if you like.
- After tasting, you may decide to add more salt, sugar, and/or lemon juice.
