Duck Sauce Chicken Wings

Description

Get ready for Game Day with these duck sauce chicken wings and be sure to add homemade ranch dipping sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 (7 oz). jar duck sauce
  • 1/2 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed or store bought
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 to 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 Tbs. mince garlic
  • 2 tsps. grated ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  3. Season chicken wings with salt and pepper.  Add oil to skillet and heat over medium high heat.  Add seasoned chicken wings and brown for 3 minutes on each side.
  4. In a saucepan over medium high heat, combine duck sauce, orange juice, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper.  Stir and simmer. Pour sauce over chicken wings.
  5. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn the wings and bake for 10 more minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and brush with more sauce on wings.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and fresh cilantro.
