I used to make this Easy Cheesy Chicken Parmesan recipe frequently, and I guess I’ve forgotten about it. I pulled it out of my recipe box and decided to see if it was as good as I remember, and it did not disappoint. When my two boys were young and at home we were always on the go, and this was quick and easy, and they thought it was delicious. When you find a dish that the whole family thinks is delicious, it’s a winner!
About the ingredients:
- I started with thin sliced chicken breasts, but you can always buy the thicker chicken breast and slice them thin. If thicker, your cooking time may be longer.
- I used Hunt’s traditional sauce and added some ingredients. If you have a preferred spaghetti, sauce, it will be just as delicious in this Easy Cheesy Chicken Parmesan recipe.
- Opt for freshly grated parmesan cheese instead of pre-grated – it melts more smoothly, tastes richer, and has a better texture.
- I used angel hair pasta, but you can use your favorite pasta.

Notes
- Pounding the chicken breasts with a meat mallet tenderizes the chicken, making it more flavorful, and also it will cook faster and more evenly.
- Serving suggestion: garden salad with hot buttered garlic toast and a glass of Chianti.
