Description
This recipe for strawberry pie combines a creamy filling with fresh strawberries and finished off with a chocolate drizzle.

- 1 Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust, softened
- 1 8 oz. package cream cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup semiweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare pie crust as directed on the box.
- Beat cream cheese on medium speed until fluffy.
- Gradually beat in sugar and almond extract until well blended.
- Beat whipping cream on high until soft peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture and spread into cooled pie shell.
- Place strawberries pointed side up over the cream cheese mixture or you can slice the strawberries and arrange them.
- Melt chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
- Drizzle strawberries with chocolate.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour. Keep refrigerated.

You can skip the almond extract if you don’t care for that flavor or add vanilla extract.
